Cant play

This game seems to have an unstated incompatibility with iPad 1. The game wont get past the character naming screen, then it crashes back to home screen. So far customer support has recommended closing background apps (no help) and turning down graphics settings, which I cant do because that option is inexplicably only available from the options menu once you get into the game itself (which I cant do), and not from the main menu options!

Ive asked for a refund, but Im not sure ow far Ill get with THAT! Be warned, iPad 1 owners!
